SKH COUNSELLING
I am a qualified and experienced integrative therapist for adults and children. I offer 1-to-1 counselling sessions either online via Teams or over the phone.
I have always found helping others very rewarding, and building positive relationships with people comes naturally to me.

I started my career as an EYFS practitioner after completing my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education at age 16. After years of working with children in educational settings, I realised my true passion is to support people with their emotional well-being.
I understand how mental health difficulties can impact people's lives. Through my own experience with personal therapy, I discovered the positive impact the right therapist can have.
During my counselling training, I worked for a homeless charity, supporting mainly adults who had experienced domestic abuse. I also provided counselling in primary and secondary schools for students facing a range of difficulties. Additionally, I work with neurodivergent adults and children.
My experience allows me to tailor support for each client so that their individual goals can be achieved while exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential environment.
The essence of my work is to use my training and expertise to facilitate a safe and confidential environment where you can explore your difficulties. I have supported a variety of difficulties including: self-harm, eating difficulties, stress, trauma, parenthood challenges, and more. My aim is to offer a warm, non-judgemental, and accepting space where you feel heard and understood. Sessions are collaborative, and you are free to explore whatever you like at your own pace.
